Join the Advanced Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship with Converging Solutions Ltd. Starting August 2013 Converging Solutions will offer an advanced engineering apprenticeship in partnership with Stratford College. The 2-3 year apprenticeship will lead to an NVQ level 3 qualification as Mechanical and Electrical Engineer.
How the Engineering Apprenticeship Works for You:
This is the start of a long-term career opportunity in engineering where you will get the experience of building our products from scratch. You will learn the whole build process, working in all the manufacturing stages before you select an area to specialise in.
You will be supported throughout your training by working alongside skilled colleages. Our staff have all have extensive experience in engineering design and manufacturing. Our Production Supervisor will coordinate the programme and you will be challenged and supported to develop your skills and contribution within our team.
On the Job and Day Release Training – Best of Both
An engineering apprenticeship is a great way for practically minded people to continue their education following completion of their GCSE. Stratford College will provide college training. In addition to working, you will participate in day release training at the college to develop and enhance your skills. College training is complimentary to what you will learn by working alongside our manufacturing team.
On the Job Training
This is an excellent opportunity for a practical and hard working individual to start their engineering career working for a market leader in robust pack handling solutions. You will be using using your engineering skills to assist with building and testing automated pack handling equipment. As your skills and experience develops you will be tasked with building of our complete product range.
Day Release College Training
As part of the apprenticeship you will go to Stratford College on day release where you will get workshop training to assist you with achieving the required standards for the advanced engineering apprenticeship. This is an excellent opportunity to get a qualification with long term prospects while being paid a salary. Learning how to work in a business through day-to-day practical work combined with college workshop training.
What are We Looking for?

• Predicted or actual GCSE grades C or above in Maths, English and ICT
